For the 2023-2024 academic year, we were unable to hold the poetry competition. Instead, we curated The Blakely Program and welcomed three incredible poets to our campus in Athens, Georgia. 

Elizabeth Willis joined us on February 8th for an engaging reading and discussion at The Athenaeum. In March, our Graduate Students planned and hosted a reading with poet and translator Aditi Machado at Athica Gallery. Finally, Ana Božičević delighted us with a reading of some of her new work at The Graduate Reading Room in the Main Library on North Campus.
